Job summary

Amanvari is seeking a Receiving Agent to ensure proper receipt, verification, and control of goods, materials, and equipment entering the hotel. You will safeguard the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.

Responsibilities include inspecting deliveries, recording receipts in multiple systems, and enforcing HACCP and hygiene standards across the receiving area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical degree in Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in receiving, warehouse, or logistics, preferably in hotels or restaurants.
• Basic to intermediate inventory control knowledge and understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience with purchasing and inventory systems (BirchStreet, Adaco, MC, SAP, Oracle or equivalents).
• Basic knowledge of USALI (departmental classification).
• Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and handling of perishable products.
• Ability to identify Food & Beverage, maintenance, and other operational products.
• Basic proficiency in Excel (report preparation, recordkeeping, and logs).

Responsibilities

• Receive daily products, materials, and supplies in the receiving area.
• Validate each delivery against the documentation: PO, purchase confirmation, and approved specifications.
• Verify quantities, weight, volume, unit of measure, quality, sanitary conditions, expiration dates, batch numbers, and temperatures.
• Reject goods not meeting standards or the PO.
• Record each receipt in BirchStreet, Adaco, MC, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Prepare and upload receiving reports (GRN) ensuring accuracy.
• Verify carriers comply with safety, hygiene, and identification protocols.
• Manage delivery schedules and control authorized access.
• Apply HACCP standards, sanitation, and hotel safety policies.
• Maintain the receiving area clean and compliant with hygiene standards.
