Job Profile: React/ React Native Frontend Developer

Location: Hybrid in Mexico City/ Guadalajara/ Monterrey

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced frontend developer with strong skills in React and React Native. The role involves building scalable, responsive applications across web and mobile platforms, collaborating in an Agile environment, and contributing to continuous deployment pipelines.

Qualifications Basic:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of a year of education.
• At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology and a minimum of 3 years in various aspects of front‑end development, capable of solving problems and programming across the stack.

Mandatory Skillsets:

• 5+ years of software development experience, focusing on web and mobile apps.
• Create scalable, responsive front‑end applications using React, React Native, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum, code reviews, testing, and deployment for high‑quality deliverables.
• Experience with YAML files, npm, and yarn.

Nice to have:

• Experience with relational and non‑relational database structures – SQL/NoSQL, Postgres/MySQL.
• Experience developing apps focused on accessibility (ADA compatibility).
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with IoT platforms, protocols (MQTT, HTTP, WebSocket), device management, edge computing, real‑time data processing, and cloud services (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).

Other Relevant Experience:

• Proficient in English communication.
• Experience in software development life cycle including Agile, participating in implementations of new systems or modifications to existing systems to meet business requirements.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
• Ability to work in a diverse, multi‑stakeholder team environment.
• Experience in the Retail domain.
