Sanmina Reynosa seeks an experienced Manufacturing Equipment Engineer 4 to evaluate, select and manage SMT machinery for high-volume electronics manufacturing. You’ll oversee installation, upgrades, and maintenance while implementing reliability and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

The role requires SMT tooling expertise, NPI process development, and knowledge of core quality tools and Lean Six Sigma, with English-Spanish bilingual capability preferred.

Formación

• SMT experience with screens printers, SPI, placement, AOI, XRAY and reflow ovens.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and core quality tools.
• Bilingual English proficiency and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, select and order SMT equipment for efficient production.
• Oversee installation, upgrades and maintenance of equipment.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and reliability programs.

Job Description

Manufacturing Equipment Engineer 4 Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products. Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing up time and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.

SMT Engineer Profile

• 5 a10 years of technical experience on SMT.
• Bilingual 80% English.
• Knowledge & programming of SMT equipment (Screen printer, SPI, Placement machines, AOI, XRAY, Reflow ovens, Nitrogen)
• Advance reflow profile development
• SMT Tooling development
• Proved knowledge and experience of PCBA DFM.
• Process development for new product introductions.
• Experience working under the standard IATF 16949.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA & SPC.
• Knowledge of SWS, Process Map, Quality Control,
• LSS Greenbelt Preferred
• 5S's knowledge.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge
• AUTOCAD is a plus.
