Job summary

Xoxaf busca un Químico Farmacobiólogo de Control de Calidad para un rol completamente remoto, enfocado en la calidad de las materias primas, muestras en proceso y productos terminados. Se realizarán pruebas analíticas, documentación rigurosa y aseguramiento de calidad conforme a GMP/GLP.

Se requiere formación en química/farmacología y al menos 3 años en QC farmacéutico, con experiencia en HPLC y disolución. Trabajo remoto con colaboración internacional y reporte al equipo de calidad.

Qualifications

• Grado en Química, Farmacia, Bioquímica o campo relacionado.
• Precisión en documentación y registro de resultados.
• Conocimiento de GMP/GLP y buenas prácticas de laboratorio.
• Experiencia con instrumentos de laboratorio y sistemas LIMS es una ventaja.
• Capacidad de trabajar de forma remota y comunicación en inglés y español.

Responsibilities

• Realizar pruebas analíticas de materias primas, productos intermedios y finales.
• Operar y mantener equipos de laboratorio (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, disolución, Karl Fischer).
• Documentar actividades de pruebas cumpliendo GLP y GMP.
• Analizar resultados y reportar desviaciones a la dirección.
• Participar en validación de métodos y verificación de ensayos.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods according to established methods and specifications.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, dissolution apparatus, and Karl Fischer titrators.
• Document all testing activities accurately and in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Analyze test results, identify any deviations from specifications, and report them promptly to management.
• Participate in method validation and verification activities.
• Assist in the investigation of out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of equipment.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for released products.
• Stay updated on relevant pharmacopeias (USP, EP, JP) and regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Control department.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory.
• Proficiency in performing various analytical techniques, especially HPLC and dissolution testing.
• Strong understanding of GMP and GLP principles.
• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with relevant pharmacopeias.
