Formación

The Quality Technician team is responsible for supporting the manufacturing function with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. This position will demonstrate inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.

Responsibilities
  • Uses judgement and initiative to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra’s quality-assurance processes
  • Conducts nonconforming material investigations and reports to Zebra’s authorized vendors as appropriate
  • May collaborate with management to drive continuous improvements and implement corrective actions
  • May assist with the internal product quality reviews with cross-functional teams
  • Supports new product quality plan implementations
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand specific technical requirements, delivering output following broad framework
Qualifications
  • Engineering Fields: Engineering degrees are highly valued; 2-4 years of experience
  • Working knowledge of Zebra products
  • Basic level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management)
  • Intermediate communication skills (listening, providing clear and concise information, using proper language and grammar)
  • Self-directed with ability to be efficient with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate problem-solving skills
  • Prior working experience in manufacturing environment (preferred Print/Label Industry) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Business Administration (with a focus on Operations or Quality Management)
  • Quality or Process Management Degrees
  • Technical Degrees or Certifications
  • Supervising inspections for products such as office materials, industrial consumables, or packaging
  • Knowledge of processes like die cutting, plastic injection molding, and packaging
  • Experience with ERP systems for inventory and quality management
  • Resolving quality issues using tools like 8D and statistical analysis
  • Leading internal audits and training operational teams
