Job summary

Gates Corporation seeks a Quality System Coordinator to ensure customer requirements are met and to reduce poor-quality costs in manufacturing. You will promote awareness of customer requirements and drive audit processes, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 compliance, with a focus on continual improvement across the organization.

You will coordinate internal and external audits and manage quality documentation, leading corrective actions and KPI reporting for management reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, quality or manufacturing engineering, or similar.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Systems within the automotive industry.
• IATF 16949 Lead Auditor course is preferred.
• Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 and IATF 16949) experience is desirable.
• Desirable: Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing knowledge.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Ensure all quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and records are controlled, updated, and available to relevant personnel.
• Coordinate document control activities and archiving of controlled documents.
• Monitor compliance with customer-specific requirements, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
• Develop and maintain the annual internal audit program.
• Coordinate and participate in internal, layerd process, manufacturing, product and system audits.
