Copeland, a global leader in climate technologies, seeks a QA support role to assist in product quality evaluation and compressor testing. The position emphasizes updating plant documents, executing tests, and recording results to drive sustainable cooling solutions.

The ideal candidate has a preparatory or technical trade education, basic knowledge of mechanical tools and HVACR systems, and a willingness to learn across multiple testing protocols and data analysis activities.

Formación

• Availability of schedule
• Experience conducting inventories
• Knowledge of mechanical tools, vacuum pumps and refrigeration systems
• Knowledge of quality gauges and measurement equipment
• Knowledge of refrigerants types and lubricants used in compressors
• Experience with computer systems

Responsabilidades

• Assist Product Quality Evaluation Engineer / Quality Manager as directed
• Assist in updating plant documents and trainings
• Perform compressor tests and analyses: gas cycle tests, calorimeters, settling, noise tests; setup and preventive maintenance; interpret results
• Record results in databases
• Support ongoing analyzer development and compressor testing

Responsabilidades

• Asistir al Ingeniero de Calidad de Evaluación de Producto/Gerente de Calidad, según se le indique.
• Asistir en la actualización de documentos de planta y entrenamientos.
• Realizar las siguientes pruebas o análisis en compresores:
  • PRUEBAS DE CICLO DE GAS, CALORIMETROS Y ASENTAMIENTO.
  • Set up de compresor.
  • Mantenimientos preventivos del equipo .
  • Interpretación de resultados.
  • PRUEBAS DE SONIDO.
  • Set up de compresor.
  • Mantenimientos preventivos del equipo.
  • Interpretación de resultados.
  • ANALISIS A COMPRESORES.
  • Corte de compresor.
  • Seguimiento y desarrollo de análisis a compresor.
  • Captura de resultados en bases de datos.
  • REQUISITOS:
  • Disponibilidad de horario.
  • Conocimiento en realización de Inventarios.
  • Conocimiento de herramientas mecánicas, bombas de vacío y sistema de refrigeración.
  • Conocimiento en gauges de calidad y equipos de medición.
  • Conocimiento de los tipos y manejo de refrigerante, asi como los aceites utilizados en los compresores.
  • Conocimiento en sistemas computacionales.
  • Tener estudios de preparatoria o Carrera Técnica.
  • DESEABLE:
  • Conocimiento en electricidad o electrónica.
