TE Connectivity busca un Quality Engineer II ubicado en Chihuahua para asegurar la realización de productos conformes a las especificaciones del cliente y mantener la calidad a lo largo del proceso.

Las responsabilidades incluyen liderazgo de programas de seguridad, gestión de riesgos, investigación de incidentes y cooperación con departamentos para mejoras continuas; se requiere experiencia en calidad y un enfoque proactivo. Ubicación on-site y disponibilidad horaria.

Formación

• Licenciatura terminada en Ingeniería o campo relacionado.
• 3–5 años de experiencia en Seguridad, Salud y Medio Ambiente o calidad.
• Inglés intermedio-avanzado.
• Disponibilidad de horario.
• Experiencia en cumplimiento normativo y gestión de riesgos.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar e implementar programas de Seguridad y Medio Ambiente y calidad.
• Identificar, evaluar y controlar riesgos en procesos e instalaciones.
• Coordinar investigaciones de incidentes y acciones correctivas.
• Gestionar la documentación y control de registros de calidad.
• Proporcionar entrenamiento y coaching al personal de EH&S y calidad.
• Cumplir con normas ISO y mejoras continuas de seguridad y calidad.

Job Overview

Assists in ensuring and monitoring safety in the workplace including the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with established company, environmental and government regulations

Job Requirements

• Integrating reporting into existing business reporting systems to ensure employees, EHS teams, town hall meetings, etc. are informed of EHS performance, incidents, programs and initiatives; monitoring and report organizational safety performance against the TEOA Safety Tool.
• Maintaining a cadence of continuous improvement, effective problem solving and timely decision making; using technical knowledge, motivation and influencing principles to ensure TE EHS values, standards and behaviors are maintained.
• Propose, implement and use organizational EHS metrics that drive improvements in EHS performance, e.g. near hit reporting, behavioral safety scorecards, ergonomic assessment, risk assessment data, environmental permit data, hazard reporting, etc.
• Supporting the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of the EHS management system for the organization that meets the TE Safety Assessment for Effectiveness (SAFE) requirements, implements TE environmental sustainability programs, ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, TE policies and TE specifications and provides for continuous improvement in EH&S performance.

Requisitos indispensables

• Licenciatura terminada.
• 3 a 5 años de experiencia en Seguridad, Salud y Medio Ambiente (EH&S).
• Inglés intermedio-avanzado.
• Disponibilidad de horario.
• Experiencia en cumplimiento normativo, gestión de riesgos y seguridad industrial.

Requisitos deseables

• Conocimiento de las normas ISO 45001 e ISO 14001.
• Experiencia en sistemas de gestión de Seguridad y Medio Ambiente.
• Conocimiento de procesos de manufactura y mejora continua.

Herramientas y tecnologías

• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• SAP (deseable).
• Experiencia utilizando sistemas de gestión, seguimiento de acciones e indicadores.
• Conocimiento de Benchmark u otras plataformas de gestión EH&S (deseable).

Responsabilidades principales

• Liderar e implementar programas de Seguridad Industrial y Medio Ambiente.
• Identificar, evaluar y controlar riesgos en procesos, equipos e instalaciones.
• Coordinar investigaciones de incidentes, near misses y acciones correctivas.
• Administrar programas críticos de seguridad como LOTO, resguardos de maquinaria, trabajos de alto riesgo, contratistas y EPP.
• Gestionar el cumplimiento ambiental, incluyendo manejo de residuos, permisos, monitoreos y requisitos regulatorios.
• Dar seguimiento a auditorías internas, corporativas y gubernamentales.
• Analizar indicadores EH&S y desarrollar planes de acción para mejora continua.
• Coordinar actividades de prevención, ergonomía, preparación y respuesta a emergencias.
• Supervisar, desarrollar y brindar coaching al personal EH&S asignado.
• Impulsar iniciativas de mejora continua y fortalecer la cultura de seguridad en todos los niveles de la organización.

• CONTROL THE PRODUCT REALIZATION PROCESS
• Ensure shipment of a product which meets the customer requirements, by building according to client specifications. SHIP DEFECT FREE PRODUCT.
• Ensure the product-process control according to the customer specifications.
• Define, monitor and evaluate the effectivity of quality plans and practices.
• Implementation and follow-up of problem solving thru the usage of lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
• Ensure appropriate disposition of Non Conforming material detected.
• MANAGE THE CORRECTIVE AND PREVENTIVE ACTION PROCESS
• Document and follow-up internal and external corrective actions.
• Verify the effectiveness of the corrective actions implemented.
• Maintain database for internal and external quality.
• COMMUNICATE WITH THE EXTERNAL CUSTOMER
• To be to prepare and present information to customer regarding quality issues or to provide response to customer inquiries/ claims
• MANAGE THE TRANSITION OF NEW PRODUCTS
• Develop, implement and maintain the FAI process to ensure failure free transference of new product lines or processes.
• Validation of the creation of new components within the internal engineering system and validation of FAI for new tools.
• MANAGE THE DOCUMENTATION AND RECORDS CONTROL PROCESS
• Generate, review, implement and maintain QMS documentation of quality department, Work Instructions, Formats, etc.
• Review and approve technical and performance specifications, and inspections procedures.
• MANAGE THE TRAINING PROCESS
• Provide On The Job Training as needed regarding clarification of quality criteria, customer complaints.
• Co-Lead along with process engineering the team required to develop / update / improve training modules and support for trainers.
• MANAGE SUPPLIED PARTS MATERIAL CONFORMANCE / REPORT ANNOMALIES TO QUARANTINE AND SPM DEPARTMENTS
• Provide effective analysis on the conformance/ non conformance to Receiving Inspection and/or SPM about the quality of supplied parts.
• MANAGE THE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROCESS
• Lead / participate on continuous improvement projects to reach established goals and go beyond.
• MANAGE THE INTERNAL AUDIT PROCESS
• Perform Internal Audits (process and product).
• MANAGE AND SUPPORT TO THE PROGRAM
• Collect, analyze, and oversee data entry on relevant quality performance indicators.
• Supervise the performance of the assigned, Quality Inspectors.
