Industrias SL, S.A. de C.V. in Mexicali seeks a Quality Engineer to manage quality functions and improve product reliability. You will work closely with various engineering teams to establish quality standards and coordinate corrective actions for quality assurance.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering, have experience in the electronics, automotive, or aerospace industry, and be proficient in quality systems. Key qualifications include Six Sigma Certification and knowledge of lean manufacturing tools.

Formación

• 1+ years of experience in quality systems.
• 1+ years of experience in MRB.
• 1+ years of experience with non-conforming material.
• Excellent computer skills (statistical software, office).

Descripción del empleo

The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing investigation and root cause analysis of product failures. Works closely with various Engineering functions (Reliability, Design, Manufacturing) in a closed-loop, corrective-action process to improve product quality and reliability performance.

What you will do:

• Responsible for working with cross-functional groups to coordinate strategies for meeting customer’s requirements in all quality areas that also serve AE’s business needs.
• Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action due customer (internal-external) complaints.
• Define, design, develop and Implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures.
• Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.
• Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure an appropriate transfer of new products, PPAP.
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.
• Participates in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements.
• Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements and submission.
• Perform weekly, monthly trend analysis and coordinate corrective actions with involved areas.
• Defines SPC to manufacturing processes and monitor weekly and monthly performance, implement countermeasure.
• Interact constantly with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials, Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC and LEAN tools.

Must have qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (manufacturing, engineering or related).

• 1+ of experience with non-conforming material.

Qualifications we prefer:

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
