EDAG Group in Mexico is seeking a Quality Engineer-CPT to evaluate supplier parts across commodities, ensure acceptance of quality through inspections and audits, and create and validate non-conforming material records.

You will gather data via statistical measurements, implement containment actions, coordinate sorting or rework orders, apply problem-solving tools, and drive improvements in line with KPI targets, with regular meetings and rotating shifts.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related.
• 1 year of automotive quality experience.
• Experience with audits per VDA, IATF16949 or ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of non-conforming material management.
• Knowledge of quality tools and GD&T (a plus).
• Certified Quality Auditor under ISO 19011 (desirable).
• Handling of KPIs and reporting.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (lean manufacturing).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• SAP desirable.
• Fluent English.
• Available to rotate shifts.
• 6 months

Responsabilidades

• Ensure and assess the acceptance of supplied parts quality through the standards through inspections, audits, etc.
• Create entries for non-conforming material inside the system and validate quality incidents from other plants that could affect
• Gather data through of statistical measurements for failures, defects, quality issues, etc.
• Implement robust containment actions when flaw or defect parts are identified
• Create orders for sorting and/or reworks with approved work instructions
• Execute actions for problem solving through of different tools and deploy effective corrective actions
• Perform all activities aligned with the tickets scope and KPI’s targets
• Participate actively in regular meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering and/or related
• 1 year of experience inside the Automotive Industry with knowledge in quality, quality systems, quality assurance, manufacturing (exterior, interior, electronics and/or powertrain) and/or similar positions
• Experience with product/process audits according to international standards (VDA, IATF16949 and/or ISO 9001)
• Good knowledge of Non-conforming processes and material management
• Good knowledge of quality processes, quality tools and GD&T (is a plus)
• Certified Quality auditor under ISO 19011 (desirable)
• Handling of KPIs and reporting
• Gather of technical information, lessons learnt, concepts and customer requirements
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (lean manufacturing)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Access, Excel, Powerpoint)
• SAP (desirable)
• Fluent English (Conversational level)
