Job Description

The Quality Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and process improvement. This position demands a commitment to excellence and a rigorous approach to problem-solving and quality assurance.

  • Lead and manage cross‑functional teams in conducting comprehensive root cause analyses and implementing robust solutions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Rigorously verify and review operator certifications and quality‑related training to ensure strict adherence to the operator certification matrix.
  • Continuously assess and validate client requirements, proactively pursuing necessary courses or certifications to meet evolving client demands.
  • Diligently promote and enforce safety, health, environmental protection, and energy performance improvement in accordance with current ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards.
  • Orchestrate containment actions for suspect products and meticulously oversee the implementation and verification of corrective actions in response to quality alerts.
  • Provide authoritative supervision and coordination to quality auditors, ensuring the highest standards of quality control are maintained.
  • Develop and administer a comprehensive annual audit program for Q‑tests (quality tests) on all products manufactured at the SlpP facility, ensuring rigorous quality standards are met consistently.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Quality Engineer position must possess the following qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
  • Advanced degree (Master's) in Quality Management or a related discipline is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of progressive experience in the Automotive Industry, with a focus on quality control and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining quality management systems, preferably in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) techniques and quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, and 8D problem‑solving methodologies.
  • In‑depth knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations, including IATF 16949.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
