CONSTRUCTION SPECIALTIES, INC. is seeking a QA leader to manage the Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement across production.

Lead investigations of nonconformities, CAPA, audits, and supplier/customer quality communications to meet ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Define inspection plans, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with teams to prevent quality risks and support launches. Establish corrective actions and verify effectiveness.

• Quality System Management: Lead, maintain and improve the Quality Management System, ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
• Product Control and Inspection: Define inspection plans and acceptance criteria; manage non-conforming material control.
• Data Analysis and CI: Monitor KPIs such as PPM, scrap, rework, complaints and lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• CAPA & Root Cause: Lead investigations and implement corrective actions with verification of effectiveness.
• Audits & Compliance: Coordinate internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits.
• Supplier & Customer Quality: Set requirements, manage communications and 8D reports as needed.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Management.

Qualifications

• Quality System Management: Lead, maintain and improve the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, customer requirements, internal specifications and applicable corporate standards.
• Product Control and Inspection: Define and supervise receipt, process and finished product inspection plans; validate acceptance criteria, measurement methods, product release and control of non-conforming material.
• Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Monitor key quality indicators such as PPM, scrap, rework, customer complaints, poor quality cost, and first pass yield; analyze trends and lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce defects and improve process efficiency.
• Nonconformities, CAPA and Root Cause: Lead investigations of internal nonconformities, customer claims and supplier failures; ensure root cause analysis, implementation of corrective and preventive actions, verification of effectiveness and timely closure.
• Audits and Compliance: Coordinate internal, customer, supplier and certification audits; maintain audit preparation, follow up on findings and ensure applicable documentary, regulatory, environmental, safety and traceability compliance.
• Supplier and Customer Quality: Establish quality requirements for suppliers, follow up on rejections and action plans, manage technical communication with customers and suppliers, and ensure effective responses through 8D reports or other required formats.
• Cross-functional Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and develop the QA and QMS team; collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Maintenance and Management to prevent quality risks, support launches/NPIs and ensure customer satisfaction.
