PPG in Mexico is hiring a Jr. Manager Quality Control to ensure analysis services and reporting are accurate. You will verify conformity of materials and products, update QC procedures, and supervise the sampling plan and release reports to support production continuity.

You will lead metrology calibration, approve UV inks from suppliers for color consistency, and guide a team to meet quality goals while collaborating with the Quality Manager.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Chemical).
• 3 years of experience in quality areas in chemical, CAPEX investment projects.
• 60% English proficiency.
• Knowledge of Management Systems, Injection Molding Packaging Manufacturing Process, EEE Laboratory Testing, Materials and Color Theory, ink matching process.

Responsabilidades

• Updating quality control procedures, specifications, test methods, instructions and other documents in the Management System.
• Determining the sampling plan for materials and products at different process stages; reviewing and validating analysis results and release reports to ensure reliability and production continuity.
• Managing and controlling the identification of non-conforming products and materials to prevent misuse.
• Managing resources to maintain the quality control subprocess and implement investment projects; guiding collaborators to ensure performance and objectives.
• Approval of UV inks from suppliers used in packaging image printing to ensure standard color uniformity.
• Management of the Metrology process to ensure measuring equipment is calibrated and functioning for accurate measurements
