Genpact is seeking a QA Senior Analyst to join the Resort Application Development Technology team. The role focuses on planning, executing, and documenting tests for web and mobile applications to ensure quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, strong API testing skills with Postman and Swagger, and thrives in an Agile environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• 5+ years of software quality assurance work experience.
• Experience developing, executing, and documenting test cases, plans, and scripts.
• Hands-on functional, regression, and exploratory testing.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute test cases for web/mobile applications based on software requirements and technical specifications
• Record and analyze test results, comparing them against expected outcomes to ensure high quality
• Provide insights from a user’s perspective to improve the client-side experience
• Enhance and mature regression testing processes, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficiency
• Design and document detailed test plans for various projects
• Participate actively in an Agile development environment, contributing to daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Lead QA efforts for application releases, ensuring smooth transitions to production
• Be available to address critical production issues, including after-hours support when necessary

Job Summary:

As part of the Resort Application Development Technology team, the Quality Assurance (QA) Senior Analyst will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our operational and digital applications. This role will involve planning, executing, and documenting tests for a range of products with complex implementations. The QA Senior Analyst will initiate tests, analyze results, troubleshoot systems, and work collaboratively with development and business teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance the user and employee experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define and execute test cases for web/mobile applications based on software requirements and technical specifications
• Record and analyze test results, comparing them against expected outcomes to ensure high quality
• Provide insights from a user’s perspective to improve the client-side experience
• Enhance and mature regression testing processes, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficiency
• Design and document detailed test plans for various projects

Job Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Experienced with API endpoint testing and tools (Postman, Swagger).
• Experienced with e-Commerce applications (web and mobile).
• Accustomed to working on Agile delivery teams.
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Required:

• 5+ years of software quality assurance work experience required
• Proven experience in developing, executing, and documenting test cases, test plans, and test scripts
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, and exploratory testing
