GlobalLogic seeks a hands‑on QA Engineer specialized in automation testing for IoT products. You will verify hardware‑software integration across embedded systems and ensure reliability of wireless devices.

The role focuses on developing and executing automated tests, analyzing defects, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to maintain high quality in fast‑paced product cycles. Experienced in Embedded Linux; Python scripting is essential, Android SDK or Yocto is a plus.

Formación

• 2–5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and Automation Testing within complex software development environments.
• Experience testing IoT devices, preferably wireless products.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing automated tests for complex software systems.
• Solid knowledge of embedded systems and their application in product development.
• Experience with Embedded Linux, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Practical knowledge of embedded testing methodologies and tools.
• Good proficiency in Python for scripting, test automation, and data analysis.

• Build and maintain regression test suites to ensure continuous product quality.
• Analyze technical, functional, and operational issues and provide detailed feedback to development teams.
• Perform root cause analysis to support timely defect resolution.
• Document and track bugs using the designated defect management system.
• Prepare clear test reports and release notes for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and optimize test environments.
• Review solution designs and code, providing constructive feedback during peer reviews.
• Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to enhanced mobile development practices.
