TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to review final artwork outputs against client requirements and printer specifications. You will perform final QC checks on artwork files and ensure adherence to brand rules and production standards.

The role involves coordinating with multiple functions to service clients, sharing improvements, and guiding newer team members. A background in packaging artwork production and familiarity with industry tools is essential.

Formación

• Experience in packaging artwork production.
• Proficient with artwork verification software such as Illustrator Viewer, Esko Viewer, Global Vision.
• Understanding of print processes and reprographics.
• Ability to interpret and follow guideline documents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience within packaging artwork production industry.

Summary Description:

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for checking the final output of artwork files and data to ensure they have been created in accordance with the client requirements and printer specifications.

What you’ll be doing:

Final Quality Control Checks

• Ensures Right First Time quality performance is achieved.
• Checks artwork build and reprographics are in adherence with the business’ standard working practices, client’s brand rules and printer specifications.
• Works to schedule and communicates delays.
• Performs range checks.
• Collaborates with multiple functions to service the client.

Continuous Improvement

• Shares observations to optimise quality, delivery and profitability.
• Adopts best practice and continuous improvement actions.
• Participates in root cause and corrective action investigations.

Coaching & Development

• Guides and advises less experienced members of the team.
• Identifies and discusses issues with relevant team members.

Client Interaction

• Delivers customer demonstrations.
