We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on testing and validating mission-critical Windows-based applications that integrate with CAD systems, working REMOTELY from anywhere in LATAM.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
• 2+ years testing Windows native and client-server applications.
• Proven experience testing Windows desktop applications.
• Proficiency in test case design, execution, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of SQL databases for data validation.
• Experience testing API interfaces and TCP/IP connections.
• Ability to verify XML message processing and binary formats.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• AdvancedEnglish.

Main Activities

• Actively participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Design and execute test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing on Windows applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed bug reporting.
• Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Automate test cases when required.
• Prepare and present test reports and status updates.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
