MagmaLabs, a fully remote software team, is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to own end-to-end automation for complex, document-heavy platforms. You will define what to automate, shape the framework, and ensure the regression suite protects production quality in environments with strict permission hierarchies.

This role demands deep testing expertise, Python proficiency, and hands-on Robot Framework and Selenium work.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of software quality assurance experience.
• At least 3 years focused on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework, including custom libraries.
• Strong Python proficiency beyond scripting.
• Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver and robust waits.
• Experience automating REST API testing and cross-layer validation.
• Working knowledge of SQL for test data preparation and backend validation.
• Experience integrating automated suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written and spoken English for client-facing collaboration.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) with overlap to US Pacific hours.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain end to end automated test suites using Robot Framework and Selenium.
• Extend the automation framework with custom Python libraries and keywords that keep tests readable and maintainable.
• Automate API level validation to cover business logic below the user interface.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines so every build yields a trustworthy quality signal.
• Build and own the regression suite, prioritizing high-risk flows.
• Design and maintain test data, including masked and synthetic datasets for non-production use.
• Validate complex permission hierarchies and tenant-level data isolation.
• Investigate failed runs to root cause and fix flaky tests.
• Report quality metrics: coverage, execution time, stability, defects escaped to production.
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and client teams across time zones.
