Job summary

Flex is seeking a Purchasing Direct Supervisor in Guadalajara, South Campus, to oversee direct materials procurement and coordinate procurement activities among the team.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, mid-level direct-procurement experience, and strong English, Outlook, and BAAN ERP skills. You will manage POs, KPIs, inventory, and collaborate under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering required.
• Mid-level experience in direct procurement.
• Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency.
• Proficient in Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• ERP experience (BAAN preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and diligent follow-up.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and expedite materials.
• Manage PO pushouts and cancellations.

This role involves overseeing activities related to the procurement of direct materials, parts, components and equipment, and direct/coordinates activities of personnel engaged in procurement.

What a typical day looks like:

• Placing purchase orders.
• Expediting materials.
• Managing PO pushouts and cancellations.
• Monitoring and reviewing purchasing KPIs.
• Managing inventory.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business or Engineering).
