Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Mexico is seeking a quality-focused engineer to support vehicle development programs and ensure project quality objectives are met.

You will coordinate APQP-PPAP deliverables, manage risks, and drive quality improvements across engineering, manufacturing, and partner teams. English proficiency and Lean methods knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of professional experience and knowledge of Quality and Lean methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of industrialization and project management processes, including APQP and PPAP methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and issue-resolution skills for cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google tools; TeamCenter CAD knowledge is a plus; familiarity with statistical control concepts.
• Leadership capabilities, results-oriented mindset, self-motivation, and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive achievement of quality targets during development activities for vehicle programs.
• Coordinate APQP-PPAP deliverables and ensure documentation is completed and maintained.
• Lead activities to prevent issue recurrence, manage risks, and drive quality convergence toward objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project quality targets established by the BCI Department.
• Facilitate communication across project, engineering, manufacturing, and partner teams.
• Define milestone actions, monitor KPIs, and manage escalations and recovery plans for non-compliance risks.
