Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Project Manager for its PMO function in Hermosillo, Mexico. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and schedules, and reporting progress to stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has a Mech/Automotive/Industrial Eng degree with 5–7 years total experience and strong MS Project skills, plus the ability to lead multiple projects and drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mech/Automotive/Industrial Eng or Tool Design.
• 3+ years of PMO experience; total experience 5–7 years.
• Strong knowledge of MS Project and general engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and liaise between PMO and planning, project teams and line management.
• Review project status, budgets, schedules and prepare status reports.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring progress and solving issues with PM, line managers and clients.

Job Overview

TE Connectivity Project Management Teams are responsible for managing the operational aspects of projects from inception through implementation. They coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams and line management. Out Teams review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. They asses project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with PM, line managers, and clients.

Job Requirements

What your background should look like

• Bachelor degree in engineering - Mech / Automobile / Industrial Engineering / Tool Design.
• Demostrated experience in Engineering assigments, eg. automotive, components, mechatronics.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PMO, Overall experience 5-7 years.
• Strong and through knowledge of technical tools specific for project management (MS Project), as well asknowledge on general engineering tools.
• Stron ability to set goals and motivate team members.
• Capable to run multiple projects at the same time.
• Ideal candidate is proactive, resilient and self-confident.
