Job summary

BWI Group in Chihuahua, Mexico seeks a project manager with a background in engineering or business management and 3–5 years in the automotive industry. The role requires strong communication, cost control, risk management and new product introduction leadership.

English proficiency and willingness to travel are essential for successful collaboration with customers and suppliers. The candidate will own the master timing schedule, maintain accurate project schedules, and drive flawless launch

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or Business Management.
• 3–5 years experience in Automotive Industry.
• PMP Certification desirable.
• Proficient in English.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Own and communicate the master timing schedule.
• Ensure that project schedules are established, up to date, & accurate.
• Drive attainment of flawless launch metrics.
• Manage project cost book developing gap closure plans as required.
• Conduct gate reviews on time.
• Ensure that design reviews are held on time.
• Ensure that project information is established and up to date.
• Lead and facilitate project risk management activities.
• Handle all communication to the customer regarding project deliverables.
• Responsible for collecting expenses made by BWI and suppliers.
• Communicate to the team members their action items regularly.
• New Product Introduction Management.
