Colgate-Palmolive in San Jose Iturbide, GUA, Mexico, seeks a Project Engineer (Temporary) to evaluate, analyze and implement projects, managing timelines and coordinating with Quality, Safety, Procurement and Finance for execution.

You will oversee field supervision, training coordination, and the generation of project validation documentation, while ensuring GMP, electronics/mechanics knowledge and strict safety standards are followed. English proficiency is required.

Formación

• Engineering degree is required.
• Minimum 2 years in similar roles.
• English proficiency around 80%.
• Knowledge of GMP, electronics, mechanics, safety, CAD, and quality systems.
• Experience in project management.

Responsabilidades

Project Engineer (Temporary)

Job Location: San Jose Iturbide, GUA, MEX

Main Responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyze, and implement projects, preparing detailed supporting information for each project. Manage project timelines and resources, coordinating with support areas for project execution (Quality, Safety, Procurement, Finance).
• Commercial & Project Management: Coordinate acceptance tests, equipment installation by developing layouts, planning, installation, and elaboration of electronic scopes for the installation.
• Customer Engagement: Field supervision, training coordination, supervising the quality of work during project execution, and generation of project validation documentation.
• Financial Analysis & Volume Control: Control project asset inflows and outflows, apply Factory Performance and Reliability standards, and comply with safety requirements and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Engineering.
• Experience: 2 years in similar positions.
• Language: English 80%.
• Technical Skills: Principles of good manufacturing practices, knowledge in electronics, mechanics and/or construction, knowledge in health and safety, management of office, project and CAD design, knowledge in quality systems, quality control, project development.
• Experience in Project Management.
