Job summary

Freudenberg in Querétaro, Mexico seeks a manufacturing leader to recruit, train, and staff production teams while mentoring associates and team leaders. You will ensure quality production lots and drive improvements to metrics across your area.

You will identify bottlenecks, propose cost-saving upgrades, and implement approved methods to boost productivity in a safe environment. Familiarity with SAP and ISO standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in industrial or mechanical engineering.
• At least 3 years in manufacturing; automotive preferred; rubber also.
• Knowledge of ISO 16949, 14001, 45001.
• Familiarity with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule staffing and mentor associates and team leaders.
• Ensure production lots meet quality requirements and lead teams to improve quality performance metrics.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest upgrades or ideas for improvements; reduce costs and boost productivity safely.
• Keep the VC ILUO system up to date and manage vacations with HR; disciplinary actions as needed.

Recruits, trains, schedules manning and staffing, mentors

Qualifications:

University degree, preferrable but not limited to industrial, mechanical engineering or similar technical degree.

At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing industry, automotive industry experience preferred. Rubber industry also preferred.

Quality core tools, and functional competences such us leadership, personnel management, conflict management, communication, drive for results

Knowledge on ISO standards such us 16949, 14001, 45001.

Familiarity with SAP preferred.
