A global manufacturing leader in Nogales is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage the production team and ensure quality output. The role requires a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, a background in Industrial Engineering, and knowledge of quality standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing production processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Overview and Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our in the City of Nogales Sonora Mexico reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for Management of production team / staff to produce quality parts on time.

Main Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Production Manager you have the responsibility of managing production equipment / staff to produce quality parts on time. He has the responsibility and authority to fulfill all quality-related activities and the EMS must comply with IATF 16949 : 2016 ISO-14000 and ISO 45001
  • Direct production / materials staff to achieve plant objectives by developing programs to highlight progress in production efficiency and stimulation for improvement establishing quality attitude in production staff by insisting on quality production within established requirements to meet customer demand provides training program direction ensures production cost control program is followed advises plant manager on all matters related to plant operations.
  • Provide direction and support to all operations.
  • Develop a career advancement plan for subordinates.
  • Assist the Human Resources department with appropriate training programs.
  • Satisfy all requirements of IATF 16949 : 2016 ISO-14000 and ISO 45001 in a timely manner.
  • Maintains safe work conditions and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all customer requirements are met satisfying customer needs and plant requirements as well as maintaining excellent quality with respect to all customer requirements.
  • Continues with ideas for improvement in the area for design work method 5s and discipline.
  • Feedback to functional areas for any inconvenience in the development of work related to Quality environment safety and health.
  • Participate in audits of IATF 16949 : 2016 ISO-14000 and ISO 45001
  • Together with the Plant Manager you have the responsibility of implementing the elements of IATF 16949 : 2016 ISO-14000 and ISO 45001 applicable to your process.
Who are we looking for
  • Career in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Manufacturing supervision quality standards health and safety and knowledge of the companys quality objectives.
  • Ability to make operational decisions
  • Able to handle conflicts and apply disciplinary sanctions
  • Ability to close production lines in case of contingencies that put the safety of employees or the quality of products at risk. (include all job descriptions).
  • Ability to solve problems in the operational environment.
