Hussmann in Tijuana, Mexico seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in assembly, packaging, and foaming, ensuring targets, quality, safety, and costs are met while leading and developing teams.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap. A bachelor's degree and 3–5 years supervisory experience are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in assembly, packaging, and foaming processes.
• Strong knowledge of KPIs, production planning, and labor management.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (ERP/MRP, Excel, reporting).

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for assembly, packaging, and foaming operations.
• Ensure production schedules are met in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
• Monitor process performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and develop hourly personnel, including training, performance feedback, attendance control, and discipline in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, housekeeping standards (5S), and environmental requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and problem-solving activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues.
• Ensure proper use of materials, equipment, and labor to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap.
• Maintain accurate production reports, KPIs, and shift handover communication.
• Enforce standard work, work instructions, and quality procedures.
