BorgWarner México is seeking a Production Supervisor to ensure the efficient and safe execution of the manufacturing plan, uphold quality, safety, the environment, and personnel development. The role keeps operations aligned with the organization's objectives and customer expectations.

You will lead continuous improvements, participate in audits, review KPI trends, and supervise key processes and operators to drive performance and ensure compliance with IATF, ISO standards, and lean methods.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of the manufacturing plan, while upholding standards for quality, safety, the environment, and personnel development. Their role is key to keeping operations aligned with the organization's objectives.

Responsibilities

• Participate in updating JSAs (Job Safety Analyses) for operations.
• Lead the resolution of issues related to scrap and FTP (First Time Pass).
• Participate in the preparation of product and process deviation reports.
• Follow up on critical quality issues and process changes.
• Review the scrap process and propose improvement actions.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Understand and audit plant management systems (IATF, ISO 14001, 45001, 50001).
• Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPA) and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Evaluate and approve permanent product and process changes.
• Supervise the execution of key processes (first-piece release, Poka-Yoke, rabbit tests, testing, TPM).
• Audit visual and technical information on the shop floor to ensure it is up-to-date, available, and in good condition.
• Participate in Reverse FMEA audits according to the schedule.
• Review and analyze monthly KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
• Validate personnel rotation based on the skills matrix.
• Evaluate operator performance and manage personnel category changes within the skills matrix.
