Job summary

Paycor in Arteaga, Coahuila, seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing schedules, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity aligned with customer requirements.

You will coordinate with Team Leaders, drive cross-functional teamwork, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and downtime.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 1–3 years' experience, knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, TPM/Autonomous Maintenance, and intermediate English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in a similar supervisory role.
• Ability to read drawings, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
• Experience with TPM and autonomous maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities with Team Leader to meet production requirements.
• Actively participate in cross-functional teams to resolve quality, safety, and productivity issues.
• Ensure personnel are trained in different operations to develop skills and support internal growth.
• Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap across production lines.
• Supervise strategies with HR to improve absenteeism and turnover.
• Follow up on Team Leader activities to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Monitor SQDCM boards with support departments to address deviations.
• Work with Maintenance to prevent downtime from equipment failures.
• Promote productivity and continuous improvement for sustainability and growth.
• Demonstrate zero tolerance for unsafe acts and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Implement Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across all areas.

Reports to: Production Superintendent

Location: Arteaga, Coah.

The objective of a production supervisor is to ensure the daily production schedule is met while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards, in alignment with customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate the daily activities with the Team Leader and team members to ensure production requirements are met.
• Actively participate in cross-functional teams with different support departments to resolve quality, safety, and productivity issues.
• Ensure MOD personnel are properly trained in different operations to develop team members’ skills and support their internal growth through operation certification, achieving multiskilling capabilities.
• Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and activities aimed at reducing scrap rates across different production lines.
• Supervise the proper implementation of strategies in coordination with Human Resources to improve absenteeism and employee turnover rates.
• Continuously follow up on and audit Team Leader activities to ensure quality, safety, and productivity objectives are achieved.
• Continuously monitor and review SQDCM boards, involving support departments to promptly address any identified deviations.
• Work closely with the Maintenance department to prevent downtime caused by equipment failures on production lines.
• Perform all responsibilities to the highest standards, promoting productivity and continuous improvement to ensure business sustainability and growth.
• Demonstrate zero tolerance for unsafe acts and conditions, maintaining a strong commitment to compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure that Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and policies are effectively implemented across all areas under their responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Ability to interpret technical information, including drawings, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
