Overview

Job Title: Production Superintendent

Department: Production

Place: Tijuana, Mexico

Reports to: Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities.
• Establish and meet production, quality and safety goals.
• Plan and assign resources to meet production objectives.
• Implement and maintain quality and safety control systems.
• Identify and resolve production and quality problems.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure proper operation of the equipment.
• Train and develop production staff.
• Comply with occupational health and safety rules and regulations.
• Perform efficiency and productivity analysis to implement improvements.
• Manage the company\'s KPIs focused on production responsibilities.
• Provide continuous monitoring with the materials team for compliance with plans.
• Manage and control the scrap generated in production.
• Work in collaboration with the rest of the supervisors to meet the goals.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Administration or related field.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in production supervision or related field.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of production management software (ERP) and quality control systems.
• Excellent ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferences

• Experience in the transformation industry. Compliance with production plans.
• Knowledge of automation and robotics technologies.
• Experience in implementing continuous improvement projects.
• 80% English Language.
