Job summary

North American Production Sharing de México, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a Production Planner in Tijuana to develop and monitor production and material plans. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal capacity.

The role requires 2+ years in production or material planning, with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, and strong analytical and coordination skills to resolve issues and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Production Planning and/or Material Planning in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, materials, and capacity.
• Monitor production performance, identify deviations, and coordinate recovery actions to achieve on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales, Warehouse, Quality and Supply Chain to prioritize orders and meet delivery requirements.
• Resolve production issues related to materials, equipment or quality and close corrective actions.
• Track material readiness and coordinate shortages with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams.
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and replenishment strategies to optimize material performance.
• Coordinate material issuance, returns, replenishment, and FIFO-compliant inventory control.
• Analyze key metrics (OTD, OEE, inventory, delivery) and recommend continuous improvements.
