Optima Organizational Solutions seeks a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at its Tijuana facility, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives. You will foster accountability and continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires Lean Manufacturing expertise, mentoring of production supervisors, and collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Planning, HR, and Finance to optimize plant performance.

Formación

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years leading production operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing multiple production supervisors and large hourly workforces.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to improve KPIs through data-driven decision making.
• Experience working within ERP/MRP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all day-to-day production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations.
• Drive operational excellence by improving productivity, quality, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Ensure production schedules are executed on time while meeting customer expectations.
• Develop and mentor production supervisors and frontline leaders to build high-performing teams.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with EH&S regulations.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs including productivity, scrap, labor efficiency, downtime, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Planning, HR, and Finance to optimize plant performance.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production, quality, and operational issues.
• Manage labor planning, staffing requirements, and workforce development initiatives.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and control manufacturing costs.
• Foster employee engagement and maintain positive employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.

Our client is a well-established global manufacturer of consumer products seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at its Tijuana facility. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Target Salary: Around $3,300 Pesos/Daily + Benefits
