LEONI is a global leader in energy and data management for the automotive industry. The Head of Production Engineering Hermosillo will lead the Production Engineering organization, driving KPIs, plant performance, and successful product/process introductions.

Experience in automotive wiring harness manufacturing, strong Lean/Six Sigma expertise, and English fluency are required to guide engineering standards, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives in the Hermosillo site.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field is required.
• 5–10 years of leadership in Production/Manufacturing Engineering within the automotive sector, preferably wiring harnesses.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the Production Engineering organization, ensuring achievement of KPIs and plant targets.
• Drive development and implementation of engineering projects for new products, processes, and technologies.
• Establish and ensure compliance with engineering standards, governance, and processes; promote best practices in manufacturing, quality, and operational excellence.
• Manage the department's budget and resources to meet productivity and investment objectives.
• Oversee the plant's production concept, coordinating Plant Engineering and Production Engineering activities.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives, including VAVE and productivity improvements.
• Develop and strengthen the engineering team through coaching, succession planning, and talent growth.
