A leading digital engineering firm is seeking a Product Owner / Associate Product Manager to support product development of user-centered SaaS solutions. You will manage product backlogs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and advocate for customer needs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in relevant roles and a strong background in Agile methodologies. This position is remote and offers a full-time contract.

We are seeking a Product Owner / Associate Product Manager to support the Product Manager in driving the development and delivery of innovative, user-centered SaaS products. This role involves translating product strategy into actionable requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring alignment between cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and customer needs.
Support the Product Manager in translating product strategy and Epics into actionable user stories and a prioritized backlog.
Collaborate with cross-product teams (Platform, Analytics & Reporting, etc.) to drive feature adoption and ensure ecosystem alignment.
Act as the customer advocate during agile ceremonies, ensuring requirements are clearly defined with appropriate acceptance criteria.
Partner with engineering, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, user-centered SaaS features.
Manage backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release readiness to ensure efficient and timely product delivery.
Conduct product demos and collect feedback from stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure smooth collaboration and successful product releases.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management.
Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proven experience managing product backlogs and sprint planning activities.
Demonstrated success working closely with engineering and design teams.
Experience gathering, documenting, and refining user requirements and acceptance criteria.
Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally
SaaS platforms and product lifecycle tools
Basic understanding of APIs, cloud-based systems, and analytics tools
