Job summary

QUALCOMM SEMICONDUCTORES Y SISTEMAS AVANZADOS DE BAJA CALIFORNIA is seeking a Product Engineer in Tijuana, Mexico to validate new silicon, develop ATE hardware and software, and characterize device performance under various conditions. You will collaborate across teams to create cost-effective production test solutions for advanced packaging technologies.

The role requires a degree in computer or electrical engineering (or related field) with hands-on experience in silicon bring-up and test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with common test equipment (ATE, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers)
• 3+ years’ experience with silicon bring-up and high-volume manufacturing, hardware engineering experience or related work experience
• Preferred: Master’s degree in computer engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with ATE test platforms, Advantest 93K SOC test systems, design for test (DFT) techniques and structural tests such as Scan/ATPG, JTAG, and memory BIST, testing CPUs
• Experience with silicon bring-up and high-volume manufacturing
• Experience with testing Advanced package technologies
• Knowledge of VLSI design, semiconductor device physics along with computer processor systems, CMOS, Analog, and Mixed Signal circuits such as ADC, DAC, PLL, Codecs and their performance measurements
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and be passionate about delivering quality work
