Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Product Engineer in Mexico to support and lead engineering activities across the manufacturing process. You will facilitate other engineers, implement and support processes, and provide training and troubleshooting for your assigned area.

The role requires a strong understanding of basic processes and the ability to lead within the site’s engineering team, contributing to excellence in manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's in appropriate fields.
• 4 to 6 years of work experience in EMS or equivalent industry.
• Ability to lead within the engineering team and implement processes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate other engineers at the site and understand basic processes.
• Responsible for implementation, support, training and troubleshooting of assigned processes.
• Ensure excellence on the assigned manufacturing process as directed by leadership.

The Product Engineer will be knowledgeable of the basic processes and facilitate other engineers at the site. This individual is also responsible for the implementation, support, training, and troubleshooting for the process being assigned in their facility. This position is assigned to an individual who has the profile to understand the scope of all the manufacturing chain process and the implications of each change and be considered to be a leader within the engineering team. The Product Engineer is responsible for ensuring excellence on the assigned manufacturing process, as determined by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Requires Advanced Diploma, Bachelors, or Masters in appropriate fields; 4 to 6 years work-related experience in the EMS or equivalent industry; Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
