Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Product Development Engineer for the Laundry Structures and Package team. You will work on global mechanical structures and packaging components, guiding projects from concept to production with cross-functional collaboration across design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

The role requires a Mechanical/Production/Automobile engineering background, 1–3+ years in product development, and strong English. Proficiency in Creo and project management is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering or related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in product development.
• Proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
• Knowledge of structural mechanics and problem solving.
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools; Creo preferred.
• Strong project management and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Team player with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Drive New Product Development and Cost & Quality projects for Laundry Cabinet components.
• Define and manage technical specifications for Cabinet and Package components.
• Lead and support global projects and implementation initiatives.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and interface teams across projects.
• Oversee concept development, design creation, evaluation, and production readiness.
• Ensure project delivery through structured PM tools and cross-functional collaboration.
