AMETEK is seeking a PDE Engineer to lead multiple transfers and new product development projects from concept through production release. You will translate Voice of Customer, market requirements, and business objectives into robust product designs and collaborate with Sales and CAS to align developments with the technology roadmap.

The role requires hands-on prototyping and manufacturing support, with travel up to 10%.

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years in product design and manufacturing environments.
Experience managing multiple engineering projects concurrently.

Responsabilidades

Lead multiple transfers and new product development projects from concept through production release.
Translate VOC, market requirements, and business objectives into product designs.
Collaborate with Sales and CAS to define product requirements and align developments with the technology roadmap.
Develop product concepts, detailed designs, and prototypes.
Prepare project cost estimates, schedules, and technical risk assessments.
Control material and labor variance against standards.
Coordinate prototype fabrication and process development activities.
Monitor yields and address top offenders in production.
