Job summary

HONOR in Mexico City is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead end-to-end procurement projects, supplier evaluation and negotiation, and ongoing supplier performance management. You will develop category strategies through market analysis to ensure competitive sourcing and high-quality delivery.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in procurement, excellent negotiation and stakeholder skills, and strong English.

• Build and maintain a qualified supplier pool to support business growth and mitigate supply risks.
• Implement and continuously improve procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls, ensuring compliance throughout the process.

• 1. Manage end-to-end procurement projects in Mexico, including supplier qualification, evaluation and selection, contract negotiation and signing, purchase order management, and ongoing supplier performance management.
• 2. Develop, maintain, and implement category procurement strategies through industry research, market analysis, and supplier assessments to ensure competitive sourcing and high-quality delivery.
• 3. Establish and maintain cost and pricing benchmarks to support negotiations and improve procurement cost competitiveness.
• 4. Build and maintain a qualified supplier pool to support business growth, identify supply risks, and prevent major disruptions.
• 5. Implement and continuously improve procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls, ensuring compliance throughout the procurement process.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 3 years of procurement experience. Experience procuring marketing or retail-related goods and services is preferred.
• 2. Proven negotiation skills in complex business environments, with strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and organizational abilities.
• 3. Strong risk assessment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and develop practical solutions.
• 4. Professional proficiency in English is required; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• 5. Strong integrity and awareness of anti-corruption requirements, compliance, and internal controls.
