Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Procurement Governance & Process Excellence Intern to support global procurement initiatives focused on governance, process excellence, communication, and continuous improvement. The role provides hands-on experience with a global procurement team and ownership of meaningful projects across regions.

The intern will coordinate translations, update intranet procurement content, schedule awareness sessions, and assist with process mapping, analytics, and automation initiatives

Job description

The Procurement Governance & Process Excellence Intern will support global Procurement initiatives focused on process excellence, governance, communication, and continuous improvement. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with a global Procurement organization while owning meaningful projects and coordinating activities across teams and regions.

We offer

The Intern will support the Procurement Governance & Process Excellence Team with defined projects and ongoing activities, including:

• Coordinate language translations for the KION Procurement Policy (KPP)
• Update and maintain Procurement content on MyKSI intranet pages
• Coordinate Procurement Awareness Sessions, including scheduling, communications, materials, and follow-up activities
• Support process excellence, governance, continuous improvement, and other team initiatives as assigned
• Collaborate with Procurement and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and priorities. Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are preferred. The candidate should be tech-savvy and interested in learning how technology and data can be used to improve business processes. Experience with, or an interest in developing skills in, process mapping, process/data mining, analytics, automation, or related digital tools is a plus.
