Bacardi is seeking a Procurement Manager for Logistics & Distribution to lead the regional procurement strategy in LATAM. You will develop category strategies, drive savings, and partner with Supply Chain and Legal teams to optimize TCO and service delivery.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, supplier management, and continuous improvement within a global company committed to sustainable operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Strong logistics expertise across LATAM with focus on land transportation, warehousing, 3PL, and customs; ocean freight a plus.
• Procurement experience preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing events, negotiate contracts and manage suppliers to deliver total cost of ownership (TCO) models.
• Collaborate with LAC Supply Chain, Global Logistics Procurement, Legal, and suppliers to identify cost reductions.
• Serve as primary contact for cross-functional partners in Transportation, Warehousing, and Co-Manufacturing.
• Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews with strategic vendors and internal stakeholders.

The Procurement Manager for Logistics & Distribution will lead the effort of implementing and managing the procurement strategy for the Region in alignment with the Global Procurement Strategy. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and execute category strategies to maximize value for the business. This includes developing long-term strategies, leading sourcing events, negotiating contract terms; leading supplier performance management; and identifying continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities. Your goal is to become a trusted business partner who creates competitive advantage through strategy development, operational excellence, and driving improvements in total cost of ownership, service, quality, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise in the transportation (road, rail, ocean) warehousing, contract manufacturing, and 4PL markets, suppliers, and cost drivers to manage financial risk, ensure quality and service, and drive sustainability objectives.
• Utilize strategic sourcing methodology to develop category strategies, source, negotiate contracts and manage suppliers to deliver total cost of ownership (TCO) models, ensure speed to market, value creation and risk mitigation.
• Responsible for savings, cash, supply security, and sustainability. Responsible for reporting and maintaining the information integrity with regards to Global Direct Savings Program tracker.
• Support of Global Category Leads and / or Regional Leads on RFP building, data analysis, market analysis, spend analysis, and global vendor consolidation in connection with business needs.
• Work closely with LAC Supply Chain, Global Logistics Procurement, Procurement Finance, Legal Team and Suppliers to identify cost reduction programs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional partners across the various Transportation, Warehousing, and Co-Manufacturing services.
• Proactively works with suppliers to ensure the delivery of continuous improvement and technology which ultimately leads to a competitive advantage for the company. Lead the process for monthly and/or quarterly business review with strategic vendors and key internal stakeholders.
• Lead cross functional teams through a sourcing and project management process to support supply management and operations objectives.
• Ensure key requirements such as Master Services Agreements, Award Letters or Outline Agreements in place.
  
  

Skills And Experience Needed

Hard skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong logistics expertise across LATAM, with solid understanding of regional suppliers and operations, focused on land transportation, warehousing, 3PL management, and customs processes; additional exposure to ocean freight is a plus.
• Procurement experience is highly preferred.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
