Vertiv Co is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join our Purchasing team in Baja California, Mexico. This role supports day-to-day procurement operations, maintains records, and assists with data entry, reporting, and supplier communications.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in a manufacturing purchasing-administrative environment, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. ERP (IFS) experience or purchasing software is a plus, and the ability to work

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing administrative or purchasing environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP (IFS) experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of purchasing processes and inventory management.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, file management, and document organization to support purchasing functions.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier information, and inventory data.
• Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and creating presentations as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing communication and correspondence.
• Assist in processing purchase orders, including creating, updating, and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct basic research on suppliers and products to support purchasing decisions.
• Monitor and follow up on order statuses with suppliers, addressing discrepancies or delays.
• Support supplier relationship management and issue resolution.
• Help maintain accurate inventory levels by coordinating with receiving and warehouse teams.
• Input, update, and manage data in purchasing and inventory systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Generate and distribute weekly and monthly purchasing and inventory reports.
• Assist with expense tracking and invoice reconciliation.
