Johnson Controls in Mexico is seeking a BI Engineer II to implement best-in-class BI, analytics, and dashboards across the organization.

You will scope, develop, automate, and validate reporting, driving data-driven decisions and delivering scalable BI solutions in a timely manner.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or similar).
• 4+ years of relevant experience in BI/Data Engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Ability to draw insights and clearly communicate to stakeholders and senior management.
• Experience configuring and using Power BI applications to visualize dashboards and scorecards.
• Experience developing, maintaining and managing Power BI dashboards & analytics.
• Understanding of high-level programming languages; Python preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Transform medium complexity data sets into meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
• Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards on Power BI or other visualization tools.
• Produce and maintain scalable, automated reporting systems and dashboards.
• Support data visualization by tuning queries and data loads; address data integrity questions.
• Design and build business-critical reports such as Scorecards and Compliance reports.
• Collaborate with end users to understand conceptual needs and translate to production reports.
• Document data models needed to deliver final reports and dashboards.
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics and analyses for decision-making.
• Support annual activities and RFPs for procurement categories by preparing data prep for bidding.
• Train stakeholders by creating dashboards with them and boosting dashboard usage.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
