A manufacturing company located in Tijuana is seeking a skilled process engineer to enhance product quality and optimize manufacturing processes. The candidate should have a strong background in manual assembly of plastics and electronics, project management experience, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include analyzing process deviation and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Formación

  • 3 years of manual assembly experience, preferably in plastics and electronics.
  • Bilingual capabilities required.
  • Capacity to work under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the process works at optimum level, required output, and quality expectations to meet customer requirements.
  • Enhance the quality of products, reduce customer complaints, ensure compliance with customers regulations, and provide adherence to internal Quality Standards.
  • Set and maintain all operating process parameters to achieve high levels of production and efficiency targets.
  • Analyze and investigate root causes from process deviations and quality performance and support operations groups in the corrective action.
  • Design interim and long-term solutions to resolve process bottlenecks.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, in accordance with project success criteria, through prioritization, allocation of resources, budgeting, planning, and controlling.
  • Develop and/or participate in implementing cost savings initiatives involving waste minimization, productivity improvements, product recovery, and other process optimization opportunities through an active partnership with the Equipment Engineering group and operation teams.
  • Provide technical support for new products; interaction with, NPI, R&D, Quality, Operations, and other support groups.
  • Provide support in technical challenges to solve process related problems.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve Plant Goals.
  • Prepare and present engineering reports and metrics results.
  • Participate in daily meeting with core team.
  • Promote and maintain the continuous improvement in process operations.
