Metso Corporation seeks a Process Owner, Manufacturing to lead end-to-end manufacturing planning globally. You will standardize processes, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive continuous improvement across factories.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain).
• Strong experience with manufacturing and production-related IT systems.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes from a systems perspective.

Responsabilidades

• Own, develop, and maintain the global manufacturing planning process framework (standards, governance, best practices).
• Communicate, train, and support production unit personnel for a consistent global way of working.
• Ensure production units have required capabilities and support for manufacturing-related systems.
• Act as SAP PP/QM key user and process owner to support factory operations.
• Own and develop other manufacturing-related data systems and processes.
• Resolve system-related challenges and support requests from production units.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across production, supply planning, and IT to continuously improve processes.

Introduction

We are looking for a Process Owner, Manufacturing to join our Manufacturing team in the Services business area. In this role, you will be responsible for system designing, standardizing, and continuously improving end-to-end manufacturing planning processes across factories, ensuring alignment between business objectives, system capabilities, and operational requirements.

You will report to Head of Manufacturing, and the role location is Espoo, Tampere, or Turku, Finland, or Irapuato, Mexico, with a hybrid working model available. This position requires variable global travel and presence at manufacturing units.

Team you will belong to

You will join the Manufacturing team, which executes, develops, maintains, and manages selected products and materials manufacturing, development, and supply planning operations. The global team is responsible for supporting sustainable manufacturing operations and ensuring effective planning processes across manufacturing activities.

This role works closely with production, supply planning, IT, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain global manufacturing capabilities from a system perspective. Team members are based globally, and collaboration focuses on driving standardization, process excellence, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

• Own, develop, and maintain the global manufacturing planning process framework from a system perspective, including standards, governance, and best practices.
• Communicate, train, and support production unit personnel to enable a consistent global way of working.
• Ensure production units have the required capabilities and support for manufacturing-related systems.
• Act as expert and SAP key user and process owner for Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules to support factory operations
• Own and develop other manufacturing-related data systems and processes as required.
• Resolve system-related challenges and support requests from production units.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across production, supply planning, and IT to continuously improve manufacturing planning processes.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong experience with manufacturing and production-related IT systems.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production stages from a systems perspective.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to manufacturing process and system management.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with a service-oriented mindset.
• Interest in technology, a continuous learning mindset, and the ability to challenge existing ways of working constructively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain and visualize complex topics clearly for different audiences and regions.
• Fluent written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate successfully in a multinational and diverse environment.
• Deeper manufacturing and logistics expertise within process and assembly manufacturing environments is an asset.
• Experience with SAP and other reporting or manufacturing-related IT systems is a clear asset.
• Finnish, Spanish, or other additional language skills is an asset.
