Job summary

Brose North America Inc in Querétaro, Mexico is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to develop MES concepts, optimize OEE, and lead the planning and procurement of production equipment. You will implement improvements across processes and contribute to customer projects with robust quality assurance practices.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of experience, strong knowledge of fastening, riveting, flaring, pressing and joining, and advanced English proficiency.

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of fastening, riveting, flaring, pressing and joining manufacturing steps.
• Experience in procurement of production equipment.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create MES concepts and implement on new equipment, improving installed processes.
• Ensure OEE, availability, and quality for internal/customer runs.
• Plan, procure, and introduce production equipment within budget and schedule.
• Develop rough and detailed manufacturing concepts and test resource reuse.
• Conceive PT indicators and implement technical changes for customer projects.
• Develop concepts for seat production technologies: fastening, riveting, etc.
• Apply quality assurance methods (Poka Yoke, P-FMEA, capability, etc.).

Your Tasks

• MES concept creation through implementation on new equipment including optimization of installed processes.
• Ensure OEE, technical availability, quality rate for internal/customer run at rates, including series process stabilization.
• Planning, procurement, and series introduction of production equipment with the specified budget/timing and technical specifications.
• Creating rough and detailed manufacturing concepts; testing the reuse of operating resources; conducting Prokon workshops; and drafting specifications.
• Concepts development of PT indicators. Assessment and implementation of technical changes in the context of customer projects and series support.
• Conception, testing and realization of technologies for seat production: Fastening, Riveting, Flaring, Pressing and Joining.
• Application of quality assurance methods (Poka Yoke, P-FMEA, capability, etc.).

Your Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in similar position.
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies is highly valued (Fastening, Riveting, Flaring, Pressing and Joining).
• Experience in procurement of production equipment.
• Advanced English proficiency
