Plexus Corp. in Mexico is seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical expertise across the manufacturing process, guiding best practices and equipment usage to boost efficiency and quality.

The role includes training teams, supporting production activities, and ensuring new products are manufacturable under established standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent with 4+ years related experience.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, quality controls, and process improvement.
• Proficiency in data analysis and SPC software preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides technical guidance throughout the manufacturing process to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Trains teams and supports ongoing production activities.
• Ensures manufacturability of new products and adherence to standards during new product introductions.
• Generates accurate technical project documentation and maintains up-to-date regional/site documentation.

Purpose Statement:

The process engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves offering guidance on best practices and equipment, optimizing production for efficiency and quality, training various teams, and supporting ongoing production activities. They also ensure the manufacturability of new products while adhering to standards and lead new product introduction processes.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Develops Manufacturing solutions/ Provide services that are innovative, high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy all stakeholder's (customer, manufacturing, material, agency, etc.) needs and requirements through an established area of technical expertise and mentorship of others within site as it applies to their role.


• Demonstrates effective communications (teleconference, email, and in-person) through interaction with customers (internal and external) regarding project technical subject matter.


• Demonstrates expertise in the full Plexus Manufacturing process on small to mid size projects, as it applies to their role.


• Demonstrates the ability to work independently in multiple phases / processes of the Manufacturing Process, without direction from mentors or functional management, as it applies to their role.


• Ensure accurate technical project documentation/ up to date regional/ site documentation in accordance with the quality, industrial standard and change management procedures and guidelines, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
