Sensata seeks a Process Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, enhancing product performance and production efficiency. You will collaborate with design, equipment vendors, program managers, marketing, and quality teams to design processes with manufacturability in mind and to estimate labor and capital costs.

You will contribute to global make-site lines, support new product introductions, and help reduce cycle times and costs while maintaining quality.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills: oral, written, and presentation.
• Strong organization, planning and time management to achieve results.
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Develop or modify manufacturing processes to increase product performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with design engineers, equipment vendors, PMs, marketing and QA to support new electromechanical products.
• Provide process design and cost estimates for labor and capital.
• Support sustaining activities on production lines at global make sites.
• Define specs for production equipment and interfacing with suppliers to meet specs.
• Participate in global NPD teams to enable successful launches.
• Influence product designs for manufacturability and cost reduction.
• Assist with setup of sample lines and process development equipment.
• Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure processes meet targets and delivery requirements.
