Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Process Engineer in Monterrey to optimize industrial processes, enhance safety, and improve reliability within the energy sector. You will analyze current operations, design improvements, and validate changes through simulations and experiments.

The role requires a background in chemical or industrial engineering, 4+ years in process engineering, and proficiency with Aspen HYSYS or PRO/II. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years in process engineering, energy sector preferred.
• Proficiency with process simulation software.
• Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations in energy.
• Fluent in Spanish; English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize industrial processes to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality.
• Develop and implement process improvements with safety and environmental compliance.
• Design and conduct experiments to test and validate process modifications.
• Utilize process simulation software to model and predict process behavior.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide technical training to operational staff.
• Monitor KPIs and generate reports on process performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and R&D.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in process engineering.
• Participate in safety reviews and hazard analyses (HAZOP).
