Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics is seeking a Process Engineer to lead the design, optimization and implementation of industrial processes. The role involves working across multiple customers, improving efficiency, reducing costs and driving quality and profitability.

You will analyze processes, run trials, document procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time. English fluency and automotive industry knowledge are required.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of PPAP processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Strong negotiation skills and reporting to management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification.
• Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data.
• Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes.
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
• Meet program deliverables on time and schedule.
• Provide regular tracking status to the designated Team Leader.
• Attend meetings to provide status reports.
• Capture and register tryouts, runoffs and quality impacts for project implementations.

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer join Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics. This individual will be responsible for the process design, operation and implementation of tasks for the client that they will support. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.

In your day to day activities, you’ll have the opportunity to work with multiple customers, as a consultant and trusted partner in Sandalwood’s areas of expertise of Injury Prevention, Systems Engineering & Systems Integration. You’ll help customers innovate, solve their current struggles and guide them with the power of Sandalwood’s deeply ingrained subject matter expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
• Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
• Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions

• + 1 Years’ Experience in manufacturing
• Automotive customer portals knowledge
• Experience in Automotive industry company
• English Advance, fluent written and spoken technical English
• Strong knowledge on problem resolution techniques in the automotive industry (5Why's, 8D, PDCA, DMAIC, etc.
• Basic knowledge on PPAP processes
• Organizational and planning skills
• Strong communication skills to interact with different level of members within the organization
• Teamwork, proactive, with sense of urgency & customer service attitude to drive customer satisfaction (internal & external)
• Working under pressure and time availability
• Strong negotiation skills to drive timing targets
• The ability to report project status accurately and in timely fashion to manager level management

Tasks assigned / Work priorities:

• Meet Program Deliverables on time and schedule
• Provide regular (daily, weekly, etc.) Tracking Status to the designated Team Leader
• Attend designated meetings to provide status reports
• Capture and register for all tryouts, runoffs and quality impacts for the project implementations and engineering updates/upgrades.
• Manage within master timing charts, with corrective actions and recovery plans identified where needed.
• Support to the production line for all tryouts runs and installation periods.
• Shipping process for machine tryout parts to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
• Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends.

• Accomplish the department objectives addressed by the client using problem solving technique.
