Ambu A/S is expanding its manufacturing site in Mexico. The Process Engineer will support testing, pilot production, transfer and installation of new products, ensuring smooth startup and documentation of enhancements.

The role focuses on capacity assessments, process improvements, product validation, and cross-functional collaboration to meet growth targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Associates degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
• English language medium level required.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Assess shop capacity and recommend how to increase capacity to meet demand.
• Identify and implement shop floor process improvements to increase output and reduce costs.
• Assist MFG team in developing product validation programs and reduce launch time.
• Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed.
• Conduct engineering test evaluations such as GR&R, SVs, Test Method, Criticality.
• Understand and use assembly docs such as schematics, BOMs, visuals, testing tools and procedures.
• Provide training and clear direction for production associates.

We are growing and expanding our Manufacturing Site in Mexico! In the job as Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to actively support the organization by meeting ensuring that our manufacturing site runs as needed to have the growth expected of the products we make in Mexico, excel in your own daily tasks and responsibilities, and experience a very varied working day in a dynamic.

Objective:

The Process Engineer provide engineering support for testing, production-pilot, transfer, installation, validation, start up, stabilization and documentation of new products and equipment integration into manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Assess shop capacity and make recommendations to increase capacity to meet business
  demands.
• Identify & implement shop floor process improvements that increase output and reduce
  overall costs.
• Assist MFG team in developing new product validation program and assure compliance to
  reduce the launch time.
• Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed.
• Conduct Engineering test evaluations such are: GR&R, SVs, Test Method, Criticality.
• Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the
  following: Schematics, BOM's, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.
• Provide clear direction and training for production associates.
• Advise on scheduling and staffing needs.
• Provides guidance, training, and leadership to new technicians or clerks.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local
  and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrated success in working across functions, organizations, and all levels of
  management.
• Achieving results through other team members and suppliers. Drive for action and quality
  focused.
• Must be a highly motivated, proactive, self-directed worker.

Qualifications / Education:

• An Associates of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar or equivalent
  combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience or equivalent knowledge and skills to perform the position responsibilities.
• Experience in the medical device industry or medical field.
• Experience in GR&R, SVs, Eng. Studies, Protocols (Preferred)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• English language medium to advance.
